Berlin (dpa / lni) - For Davy Klaassen, his current coach at Ajax Amsterdam, Erik ten Hag, is ready for the Bundesliga.
"I know that he has been traded in Germany since his time at Bayern II," said the former Werder Bremen professional in a "kicker" interview (Thursday).
"He's just a good coach, which he also proved with a Champions League semi-final," said the 27-year-old Dutchman.
«And I believe that he will also be active in the Bundesliga at some point.
I just hope not so soon. "
Midfielder Klaassen came to Bremen from Everton in summer 2018 and left Werder for home in October 2020.
Ajax is currently the sovereign leader in the Dutch Eredivisie with ten Hag (51).
Ten Hag was recently traded as a possible successor to Marco Rose at Borussia Mönchengladbach.
However, Borussia denied any contact between sports director Max Eberl and the coach.
