  Hu Zhongxiong, male, Han nationality, was born in January 1966 in Lixian County, Hunan Province. He started working in August 1989 and joined the Communist Party of China in April 1985. He has a postgraduate degree and a Doctor of Philosophy.

  Hu Zhongxiong has worked in Hunan for a long time and was the deputy secretary of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League; the deputy secretary of the Yiyang Municipal Committee of Hunan Province and the secretary of the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection; Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress; Deputy Secretary and Acting Mayor of Changsha City, Hunan Province, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Xiangjiang New Area; Deputy Secretary and Mayor of the Municipal Party Committee of Changsha, Hunan Province, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Xiangjiang New Area.

  From January 2020 to March 2020, Hu Zhongxiong served as a member of the Party Leadership Group of the Guizhou Provincial Government and was nominated as the deputy governor of Guizhou Province; from March 2020 to February 2021, he served as the Deputy Governor of Guizhou Province and a member of the Party Leadership Group of the Provincial Government; From February 2021, he served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee.
