Heidenheim (dpa / lni) - 1. FC Heidenheim is expecting a complicated away game on Saturday after the coach change at VfL Osnabrück (1 p.m. / Sky).

"The impulse should release energy for the game against us," said FCH trainer Frank Schmidt on Thursday.

The Lower Saxony have parted ways with head coach Marco Grote after the last seven defeats in a row.

The previous U19 coach Florian Fulland will look after the team against the Heidenheim team.

"The opponent will do everything to create the turnaround," said Schmidt.

"But we don't want to be the good mood uncle who distributes presents."

The 47-year-old can again rely on full-back Marnon Busch in Osnabrück, who is fit again after a strain.

Robert Leipertz, who tested positive for Corona a week ago, is, however, still in quarantine at home.

Midfielder Dzenis Burnic is missing a yellow card.
