18 February 2021 Umbria and the autonomous provinces of Trento and Bolzano remain the only Italian areas with a high incidence of infections from Covid-19, in dark red, in the updated map of the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (Ecdc) . 

The situation has not changed since last week, except for Sardinia which joins the Val d'Aosta as the only orange regions. 

In the rest of Europe, dark red continues to cover a large part of the Iberian Peninsula, the South of France, the Slovenian regions bordering Italy, the Czech Republic, the neighboring areas of Slovakia and Germany, Latvia, Estonia, southern Sweden. .
