In recent years, Egyptians have been accustomed to repeatedly issuing fatwas from the Dar al-Ifta, identical to the positions of the authority or the demands of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, but what seemed remarkable this time was the interest of the official institution to comment on an incident involving a media person close to the authority.

The Dar Al Iftaa published - on its official page on the social networking site "Facebook" - a fatwa prohibiting the schadenfreude about the calamities of others such as death and accidents, hours after the traffic accident that Amr Adib was subjected to late on Tuesday evening. After that, social networking sites witnessed some expressing their gloating about Amr Adib and what he was subjected to.

The accident occurred near Sixth of October City in the Giza Governorate, and Adeeb was transferred to the hospital where he spent several hours and was discharged after receiving the necessary treatment without clear details of his health condition, recovery date and return to work as he is considered one of the most prominent presenters of talk shows in support of the current authority, led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who was a guest over the phone a few days ago, on the Adeeb program, which is broadcasted daily on the Saudi-owned MBC Egypt.

And if the house did not mention "Adeeb" by name, then most Egyptian newspapers and news sites saw that the fatwa concerned the accident of the famous broadcaster, including the government newspaper Al-Akhbar and independent websites known for their proximity to the authority such as the homeland and the constitution as well as the Masrawy website, which published its news about the fatwa under the title that says The first comment from the fatwa on schadenfreude by Amr Adib after he was in a traffic accident.

The Fatwa House said in its fatwa that “gloating about the calamities and calamities that happen to others - including accidents and death - is not a human or religious morality, and mourning by death will die just as someone else has died.” After citing a Quranic verse and an honorable hadith, the house added that “gloating and curing the afflicted person whatever it is It is contrary to the noble prophetic morals and human common sense. In the event of calamities, consideration and exhortation must be made, not joy and pleasure. "

A number of social media users mocked what they considered was that Dar Al Iftaa detailed a fatwa specifically for Amr Adib, in exchange for neglecting what happened previously in terms of gloating against opponents of the authority, such as the martyrs of the Rab'a sit-in, as well as the late President Mohamed Morsi and the detained opponents of various currents.

Dar Al Iftaa: Gloating about the calamities and calamities that happen to others, including accidents and death, is not a human or religious

ethic

.. It is

as if the imprint on the execution of innocent people is a human and religious creation.

Dar Al Iftaa prohibits gloating in death!

Ok, what do you say to Ahmed Moussa, Mustafa Bakri, Amr Adeeb and Muhammad Al-Baz!

Amr Adib, after Mubarak stepped down, shows the utmost degree of gloating in him. And in Gamal Mubarak, I

wish to reach the respected Dar Al Iftaa and inform everyone who talks about "gloating" https://t.co/jfXnHo1rdk

The Egyptian Dar Al Iftaa talks about the inadmissibility of gloating in accidents and death because it is contrary to the morals of the Prophet,

but unfortunately this same house issued a fatwa upon the martyrdom of Dr. Morsi and ordered people to remind the immoral of what is in it on the grounds that Morsi was a sinner, may God have mercy on him and accept him among the martyrs.

All the Egyptian people are gloating about Amr Adib.

Talaat, the Egyptian Dar Al Iftaa, said that gloating is not part of a Muslim’s morals.

You don’t know that Amr Adib is one of the righteous saints of God

On the other hand, a number of other observers supported the timing of issuing the fatwa in light of the severe attack that Amr Adib was subjected to in the wake of the traffic accident and the state of gloating about him that reached the hope of his death, and they attributed the gloating campaign to the Muslim Brotherhood, which, according to their comments, is supposed to be an Islamic group. Calls to insult Muslims.

# Amr_adeeb Alf Salama for Amr Adeeb It is not strange that I see the Brotherhood’s gloating immediately and publicly what is this hatred and healing to this degree. Amr hurts you for all fools. There is God who has ordered us what you do not know and you claim that you are Muslims, and he is innocent of you. Amr Adib. May God be on you health and wellness. God willing. May God do a thousand safety for Amr Adib

The gloating of the Brotherhood in Amr Adib

proves to every blind person that they hate the

Egyptians and insult about anything bad,

sick souls and black hearts,

all for the sake of the chair they lost and they claim their work for Egypt

It is worth noting that the Egyptian Dar Al Iftaa recently issued a number of fatwas that have sparked great controversy, especially what appeared to be a kind of identification with the authority, such as launching the description of "Ottoman colonialism" on the conquest of Constantinople, which it later retracted, as well as the fatwa prohibiting watching Turkish series such as The series "Resurrection Ertugrul", which listed weapons used by Turkish President Erdogan to dominate the Middle East region, while praising Egyptian dramas that glorify the Egyptian army, such as the selection series that was shown last Ramadan.

These fatwas have caused a decline in the confidence of a large number of Egyptians in the Dar Al Ifta, which was revealed by the questionnaire organized by the House of Fatwa itself on its Facebook page last year about the opinion of Egyptians about the place they turn to in search of the fatwa, and it gave them the choice between the search engine Google and the Dar site Ifta.

The answer was shocking, as the survey revealed that about 70% of respondents go to Google to answer their religious questions and request a fatwa before the Fatwa House removes the poll from the page.

This came amid a state of division that prevailed in Egyptian society in recent years between supporters of Sisi and opponents of the coup that he led in 2013 against the late President Mohamed Morsi, and the occasion of the death of any Egyptian figure no longer passes without the communication sites witnessing a kind of gloating about the affliction of those belonging to the other team.

A questionnaire was placed by the Egyptian Dar Al Iftaa on its official page, and the large majority were in favor of Google's fatwas, and the reason appeared in the comments of the participants who said: We do not trust you!

This is the case with the Dar al-Ifta, which was the place of travel, and the place of senior scholars such as Imam Muhammad Abdo, Hassan Ma'mun, and Hassan Makhlouf, for example.
