and president of United We Can in the Congress of Deputies, who has requested to be carried out urgently.
In an interview with TV3, Jéssica Albiach has considered that Hasél is "a person who has gone to prison simply for exercising his right to opinion and expression", which is "clearly a democratic anomaly", which is why requests his pardon.
The petition for clemency comes hours after Asens himself announced that Unidas Podemos would register the request immediately.
In towns such as Barcelona, Vic, Girona or Lleida, demonstrations took place this Tuesday in rejection of Hasél's arrest.
In several of these points there were riots and incidents that resulted in fifteen detainees and 17 mossos d'esquadra injured.
