Munich (dpa / lby) - The Munich Administrative Court is negotiating several lawsuits in connection with the Corona bonus for nurses on Ash Wednesday.

Complaints include nurses in outpatient facilities or a housekeeper in an old people's home, who both went empty-handed.

The chamber wants to use these cases to clarify the specific funding practice.

According to a court spokesman, a total of around 200 lawsuits in connection with the Corona bonus paid to nursing staff are pending at the Munich court alone - and that is only the tip of the iceberg.

As a survey by the German Press Agency among the administrative courts in Free State showed, more than 900 such complaints were received across Bavaria.

According to the Bavarian Ministry of Health, a total of 351,428 applications for the bonus of up to 500 euros had been received by the State Office for Care by the end of the application period on June 30th.

Of these applications, 12,293 were canceled - for example, because the same applicant had submitted several applications.

65,065 applications were rejected - this corresponds to around 19 percent of the applications.

According to the ministry, a total of more than 117 million euros was paid out.
