Minneapolis (AP) - The Los Angeles Lakers have further improved their impressive away record in the NBA and also won at the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Thanks also to 24 points from national player Dennis Schröder, the defending champion beat the home team 112: 104.

Schröder had only scored more points in a game since moving to Los Angeles.

As so often, the Lakers' top scorer was superstar LeBron James with 30 points and 13 rebounds and seven assists.

Last season's champions won the 13th away win without the injured Anthony Davis, no team in the NBA has more.

The Boston Celtics won their home game against the Denver Nuggets.

Daniel Theis was not used at 112: 99 in TD Garden, his national team colleague Isaiah Hartenstein scored six points for the Nuggets in ten and a half minutes on the floor.

For the Nuggets it was a setback in their efforts to get into the playoffs.
