LPR announced the fruitless results of the meeting of the contact group on Donbass

“The February 17 Contact Group meeting ended predictably fruitlessly,” she said.

Kovshar clarified that as a result of the discussion, it was not possible to achieve progress on the issues of a political settlement.

“Ukrainian representatives stubbornly ignore the republics' proposals on a roadmap for resolving the conflict in accordance with the Minsk agreements,” she added.

Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that the Minsk process to resolve the situation in Donbass is "more alive than dead."
