Lüneburg (dpa / lni) - A new nature film festival is to illuminate life around the Lüneburg Heath.

According to the organizers, the “Films for Future” is looking for answers to the question “How do we imagine a lovable and livable life in the future that will no longer damage our natural foundations of life and what we are ready to do for it”.

The Lüneburg Heath Nature Park, the Schneverdingen Cultural Association and the Schneverdinger Kinoverein LichtSpiele.V.

are planning the series of events for the first time in the region of the three districts of Harburg, Heidekreis and Lüneburg.

From September 30th to October 4th, around 25 films will be shown in three cinemas in the nature park region over five days, with directors, actors and environmental activists available for discussions afterwards.

The film festival is under the patronage of the former Lower Saxony Environment Minister Monika Griefahn.
