Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) - The Jewish Museum Frankfurt is showing an interactive light and sound installation on its forecourt this Thursday.

The projections can be seen daily between 7 and 10 p.m. around the sculpture entitled “United”, which was created especially for the square and consists of two trees cast from aluminum, one of which protrudes with its roots into the sky, the museum said on Wednesday with.

The installation consists, among other things, of a film on the genesis of the work of art and a color and light projection.

Visitors can post comments on it on social media using the hashtag «#dasmuseumleuchtet».

These should be part of the installation the following day as a collage of quotations.

The museum wants to give "a ray of hope in these challenging times" and hope to reopen soon, explained director Mirjam Wenzel.
