February 17, 2021 Prince Philip was admitted to King Edward VI hospital in London on Tuesday evening as a "precautionary measure" following an illness.
Buckingham Palace reports, adding that the 99-year-old husband of Queen Elizabeth II is expected to remain in the hospital for a few days under observation and at rest.
