Zirchow (dpa / mv) - A drunk driver hit a pedestrian on the island of Usedom and seriously injured him.
When trying to evade the man, the 51-year-old driver lost control of his car in Zirchow on Tuesday evening, the police said.
The car caught the pedestrian who was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
A breath test showed that the person who caused the accident was 1.58 per thousand.
His driver's license was confiscated.
