Berlin / Dresden (dpa / bb) - Three months after the arrest of alleged perpetrators of the spectacular Dresden jewelery theft, the fifth suspect from Berlin has still not been caught.

The police are still looking for the twin from an Arab clan.

By the beginning of February, a total of more than 200 references to the search for two twins from the well-known large family of Arab origin in Berlin had been received.

The men escaped during the raid on November 17, 2020.

The first of the two then 21-year-olds caught the police on December 14th.

The investigators were hot on the heels of the second man on January 5, 2021.

However, he again escaped access by a special task force (SEK) in an apartment in Berlin-Neukölln.

The police only found two cell phones and documents.

The perpetrators had looted historical jewelry made of diamonds and diamonds in the spectacular break-in of the Green Vault on November 25, 2019.

Less than a year later, the first three suspects were caught.

The alleged perpetrators are in custody in Dresden.

The stolen jewelry has not yet been found.
