Cologne (dpa) - Sports presenter Katrin Müller-Hohenstein ("The current sports studio") had to take off her mask on Tuesday evening because she had received too few votes from the audience - it was a sad pig with a preference for rainy weather.
In a curious pig outfit, the 55-year-old had previously sung an idiosyncratic version of the song "Sun is Shining" by Bob Marley.
You took part because you wanted to experience something completely different, said Müller-Hohenstein after the expulsion.
“I've only really been involved in sports my whole life.
Of course with other things too, with politics, with social issues, ”she said.
"But I would never have thought that someone would urge me to sing."
Nobody saw coming that “KMH” could be under the piggy costume.
The advice team made up of Ruth Moschner (44), Carolin Kebekus (40) and Rea Garvey (47) tended to fall into the category of taller German-speaking actresses when it came to their wrong tips - the names Maria Furtwängler (54), Iris Berben (70 ) and Senta Berger (79).
Müller-Hohenstein is the first celebrity who had to pack her things in the new season of “The Masked Singer”, which started on Tuesday.
Now there are nine other costumed candidates in the running.
The rules of the ProSieben show are simple: If you get too few votes from the audience, you have to reveal your true identity.
