The information on 1177 and FHM is not unambiguous if you have had covid.
Should / may you test yourself?
If not, how do you know what applies both in terms of how long to stay away from people and in relation to care (can there be other things that need care)?

If you have been diagnosed with covid before and fall ill again within the next 6 months, you do not normally need to take a new sample.
If, on the other hand, you become so seriously ill that you need to seek care for your ailments, a new sample is taken to ensure that it is not covid./Gunlög Rasmussen
