On the menu of the media newspaper this Tuesday: Arte broadcasts a documentary series on the press mogul Rupert Murdoch, the UFC-Que Choisir files a complaint against TikTok and the Goncourt 2020 becomes the second best-selling in history.

A fascinating documentary series to watch this Tuesday evening on Arte

It's a three-part series about newspaper mogul Rupert Murdoch.

He is the head of a media empire, News Corporation.

He owns dozens of newspapers around the world, such as the

Wall Street Journal

in the United States or the

Sun

and the

Times

in the United Kingdom for the most famous.

And also dozens of TV channels.

Colombia, UK, Italy and the US, with Fox News (which supported Donald Trump during the 2016 campaign and during his tenure), he's everywhere.

These chains, these newspapers make him an incredibly influential man.

This is what tells, among others, the documentary series, a series of the BBC which also looks back on how Rupert Murdoch built his empire.

It is this powerful story that interested the leaders of Arte.

"Rupert Murdoch, the great manipulator of the media" is tonight on Arte at 8:50 pm.

The three episodes are broadcast consecutively and are also available online on Arte.tv.

A complaint against TikTok

It is the UFC-Que Choisir who deposits it.

The consumer association, allied with other European associations, believes that the favorite application of adolescents does not sufficiently protect minors.

There is, she said, no specific measure to protect these users, considered particularly vulnerable.

And this, while we can officially register from 13 years old.

Article 24 of the "comprehensive security" bill will be rewritten

The Senate will take care of it.

And more precisely the two rapporteurs of the text in front of the High Assembly Loïc Hervé and Marc-Philippe Daubresse.

It is the latter, moreover, who told

Le Figaro on

Tuesday.

Article 24, you may remember, provides for penalties for the malicious dissemination of images of members of the police.

This new version will be examined in committee in two weeks, and in session, in a month.

The Prix Goncourt 2020 becomes the second best-selling Goncourt in history

631,500 copies sold of

L'Anomalie

by Hervé Le Tellier, a figure given by the GfK institute.

It thus exceeds the 2006 Goncourt Prize,

Les Bienveillantes

by Jonathan Littell, which has sold 618,000 copies.

There is still some way to go to beat number 1. This is

L'Amant

, by Marguerite Duras, which has sold 1.6 million copies.

Gallimard, the publishing house of

L'Anomalie

estimates that sales could eventually rise to 750,000 or even 800,000 copies.

Gallimard will publish an unpublished manuscript by Marcel Proust next month

It will be on the occasion of the 150 years of the birth of the writer.

The publishing house promises writings never revealed to the public.

The title:

The seventy-five leaves and other unpublished manuscripts

, which date from 1908. Gallimard presents these texts as the foundations of Proust's masterpiece

In search of lost time

.

Arrival in bookstores scheduled for March 18.

The film "Mr and Mrs Smith" is going to be adapted in series

Do you remember that action movie?

The story of two killers, who live as a couple, without knowing what the other is really doing, and who end up having to kill each other.

The film is also famous because it was during its shooting that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie met.

They will not resume their role in this new project carried by the Amazon Prime Video platform.

These are Donald Glover, seen in

Tenet

recently and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the star of the series “Fleabag” who will be showing.
