Leipzig (dpa / sn) - In Saxony, temperatures on Tuesday climb above freezing point at lower altitudes with highs between 4 and 6 degrees plus.
However, it remains wintry in the Ore Mountains, in the Lausitzer Bergland and in Saxon Switzerland, said a spokesman for the German Weather Service (DWD).
Here the temperatures in the frost area remain at minus one to zero degrees.
Even on Wednesday night it remains frost-free between three and one degree in lower elevations.
At higher altitudes there are temperatures just below freezing point with minus one to zero degrees.
The second half of the night brings rain.
In the frost areas in the Ore Mountains, the Lusatian Uplands and Saxon Switzerland, slippery conditions from freezing rain must be expected.
It can snow on the summits.
