The police and the public prosecutor's office searched the practice and living quarters of two Hamburg doctors on Tuesday who are said to have issued false certificates for mask refusers.
The medics, aged 56 and 76, are suspected of violating Section 278 of the Criminal Code in several cases, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.
This makes issuing incorrect health certificates a criminal offense.
The public prosecutor's office obtained the decisions at the Hamburg district court, and the search took place on Tuesday.

Anyone who cannot wear a medical mouth and nose protection for health reasons can be exempted with a medical certificate.
In front of both practices, some people gathered on Tuesday morning and demonstrated their solidarity with the doctors.
