Previously, children in grades four and up have only been tested, but as of next week, the plan is for children in preschool class and up to also be tested.

- We think it is reasonable to make this enlargement to get a better picture of what the infection looks like in society, says Johan Nöjd, infection control doctor in the Uppsala Region.

According to him, the plan is for children from preschool age to be able to be tested from Monday 22 February.
