In December 2018, a 56-year-old woman returning from a party was raped in Nantes by a man who introduced himself as her VTC driver.
One of her friends was also in the car, but she had managed to escape.
This Monday, after two days of hearing, the 27-year-old accused was sentenced to eight years in prison by the Loire-Atlantique criminal court, reports the

This man had initially denied having abused this woman, but had been confused by her DNA.

, the man made delusional comments throughout the hearing, even if the psychological expertise had not revealed anything.
The victim, "broken", has suffered from obsessive-compulsive disorders since that night.
