Schwegenheim (dpa / lrs) - An excavator on a trailer was stolen in Schwegenheim (Germersheim district).
According to initial investigations, the theft of the trailer and excavator occurred between last Thursday and Saturday, as the police announced on Tuesday in Germersheim.
The owner of the excavator reported the theft on Monday.
Excavators and trailers are worth a total of around 40,000 euros.
No further background was initially known, the police are looking for witnesses.
