Will the Irish baccalaureate take place?
Last year, high school students had to wait until June to find out what the exam would look like.
This year, the terminal have not returned to high school since the Christmas holidays, confinement requires.
And students still don't know whether they will have to take the exam or receive estimated grades based on the academic record.

Online courses are good, but for some, we have bad wifi, it does not work for all courses, she
laments

We did not have enough face-to-face time, we did not do a white bin, so the estimated marks, that cannot work.
In my opinion, the best solution is to postpone the exam until July, for example
”.
Isobel Keane would prefer continuous monitoring.
But basically, while the government has been pushing back the decision for several weeks, she just wants visibility.
“
It becomes really complicated to motivate yourself, to get up in the morning,
” she explains.
We are tired of hearing

.
Why can't they sit down, stay in a room until they find a solution?
"
A teachers' union briefly slammed the door.
Around the table, the High School Students Union is pushing for some form of continuous monitoring.
“
When the students return to school, they can use their notes for the exam, for example,”
explains Alicia O'Sullivan, spokesperson for the organization.
No solution will be 100% fair, and the bin itself is not completely fair.
This is why candidates should be able to take the exam if they wish
”.
A decision is expected to be announced by the end of the week.
