The scene looks like a futuristic movie, as is often the case with Tesla.

In early February, an exceptional scene was captured in a parking lot belonging to the manufacturer of semi-autonomous electric vehicles,

.

In one video, we see hundreds of Tesla Model 3s parked next to each other, their warnings flashing more or less in unison.

The video was reportedly recorded by an employee of Elon Musk's firm.

The vehicles hadn't gone mad: it was actually a car update operation.

A staggered update

Tesla uses “On the air” technology to update its cars.

This makes it possible to add fixes or functionalities to the vehicle's remote control system, using satellites.

Specificity of Model 3: its warnings light up and flash to indicate that it is updating.

Despite the operation launched in unison for the hundreds of cars, we notice that the update is done at different speeds, with the headlights of each vehicle flashing at a different rate.

Tesla did not react to this video, so it is not known what contains this new update, carried out on vehicles before delivery.
