The reporter learned on the 14th that the Ministry of Transport and the China Meteorological Administration jointly issued the "Major Highway Meteorological Warning" a few days ago, requiring the transportation departments of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei to take precautions against heavy fog, rain and snow to ensure the safety and smooth flow of Spring Festival transportation.

  According to the person in charge of the Road Network Monitoring and Emergency Response Center of the Ministry of Transport, the transportation departments of Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and other places are taking effective preventive measures to do a good job in road traffic safety management, dredging control and emergency protection to ensure the people during the holiday season.   Snow fell in the northern mountainous area of ​​Beijing on the 14th. As of 10:30 that day, due to the impact of the snowfall, Beijing Public Transport Group took temporary measures on a total of 18 lines, including one suspension.

  In the early morning of the 14th, the Baoshan section of the Beijing-Harbin Expressway ushered in the first sleet in the Year of the Ox, which brought a major test to the safety and smoothness of the expressway.

The Beijing-Qin Branch of Hebei Expressway Group Co., Ltd. acted quickly and responded in a timely manner. The snow removal and protection team immediately launched the snow removal and protection emergency plan, and went into the snow and ice melting battle overnight.

In this round of snowfall, a total of 25 personnel and 9 snow removal equipment were put in. After nearly 10 hours of hard work, all the snow on the road was cleared and the road was restored smoothly in an orderly manner.

  The areas of Tonghua, Baishan, Baicheng, Yanbian, and Changbai Mountain in Jilin Province have received light to moderate snow a few days ago, and it is still snowing.

In response to this round of snowfall, the Jilin Provincial Department of Transportation issued snow warning information in advance, requiring all localities and units to pay close attention to weather changes, strengthen inspections and patrols on highways (high speeds), timely investigate and control safety hazards, and ensure road safety during the holiday season .

  Liaoning Province has also recently experienced rain and snow cooling, with light rain turning to heavy snow in northern Anshan, central and western Liaoyang, Benxi and Yingkou urban areas, and light rain turning to heavy snow in most of Benxi.

Local transportation departments organized mobilization and deployment, and promptly dispatched personnel and equipment to the road overnight to carry out snow removal and anti-skid operations.
