(New Year's visit to the grassroots level) The first "Military Year" of the "post-00" recruits: Missing and hiding the responsibility from the bottom of my heart

China News Service, Jinhua, February 15 (Xi Jinyan, Yu Ninglei and Mu Zhonghua) During the Spring Festival and reunion, there is a group of lovely "post-00" recruits who are spending their first "barracks" year when they leave home for the first time.

In the Second Mobile Squadron of the Jinhua Detachment of the Zhejiang Armed Police Corps, many "post-00" recruits reunited with their families in the air, turning their deep homesickness into a driving force to defend their homes and the country, and set new goals in the new year.

In this hot land of green military camps, "post-00" recruits have become a new force.

Cai Yubin, the instructor of the squadron, introduced that these new "post-00s" comrades come from all over the world. Although they have different experiences and dialects, they all have a sincere heart to defend their homes and nations.

Liu Jiayun was born in 2001 from Xicheng, Beijing.

Liu Jiayun was a veritable fat guy when he first joined the army. His weight of more than 170 kilograms made him "tortured" in physical training.

But Liu Jiayun never gave up. Others ran 400 meters and he ran 1,000 meters. Others did 10 on the horizontal bar. He gritted his teeth and insisted on doing 20.

The hard work paid off. After the three-month recruit company ended, Liu Jiayun lost more than 20 catties and achieved good results in many military subjects.

In the new year, he hopes to weigh another 20 kilograms lighter and his military quality is on par with that of veterans.

Zhang Chuangchuang, born in 2000, is from Linyi, Shandong.

Zhang Chuangchuang's father is a firefighter, and his father's sentence "I regret serving as a soldier for two years, but not serving as a soldier for a lifetime" left a deep mark in Zhang Chuangchuang's heart.

"At home, I was cared and protected by my parents. Now I have entered the barracks. Although I will sweat and bleed, I am ready to meet challenges at all times!" Zhang Chuangchuang hopes to participate in the competition through hard training in the new year. Another medal was added to the squadron’s wall of honor.

Chen Zixu, from Nanping, Fujian, was born in 2002.

Because of the Chinese New Year, Zi Xu, who left home for the first time, had a small emotion in his heart, but after listening to his grandfather's recount of the passionate years through WeChat video with his grandfather who has more than 20 years of military experience, he rekindled his fighting spirit.

"Since you enter the military camp with your dream, don't regret your choice because of setbacks." His New Year's wish is: "I can realize my value in the military camp and find my direction in life."

In order to let the new soldiers live the first warm and happy "Military Camp Year", the squadron organized various activities such as tug-of-war competitions, e-sports, and barracks treasure hunting. At the same time, the logistical support was also enhanced.

The cooks solicited opinions and studied the dishes from various places to make the meals more abundant. The new soldiers expressed that they tasted "mother's taste."

This is the first time for the new fighters to leave their parents to celebrate the New Year. The deeper their homesickness and the clearer understanding of the responsibilities on their shoulders, they will welcome the new year with a new attitude.
