Osnabrück (dpa / lni) - The city of Osnabrück will be offering free rapid corona tests from Monday.
Above all, the offer is intended to reach those people who are professionally exposed to a high risk of infection - such as cashiers, teachers, educators or students in final classes.
The offer is basically aimed at all citizens who live or work in Osnabrück.
According to the Association of Cities and Towns in Lower Saxony, there are no other cities or districts in Lower Saxony that offer free tests on the same scale as Osnabrück.
The test is to be carried out using rapid antigen tests.
According to the city administration, between 1000 and 1500 people could be tested per week.
Appointments for swabs are offered online.
