Makei spoke about Belarus's relations with other countries

“I do not agree with you that we are left alone together with Russia and that we have no other contacts in the foreign policy sphere.

Not at all.

We have maintained normal relations with the countries of the so-called long-range arc - with China, Pakistan, and others, ”he said in an interview with RBC.

Makei also noted an increase in the foreign trade turnover of Belarus.

“And our relations with the European Union did not stop.

There are about ten countries with which our trade has increased over the past year, ”he said.

Earlier, Makei said that Belarus would begin work on a new foreign policy concept. 

In January, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that the Belarusian side is capable of pursuing an independent policy, despite its size.
