In Norberg, a railway was built to connect the mining areas with Ängelsberg and Strömsholm's canal and its lake system.
A railway was also built to facilitate the transport of ore from the Norberg mines to the mills in the northern parts of Bergslagen.
- It is the iron ore that makes it so early here, says Sten Nordström, traffic manager at ENJ.
The station house on the site has a slightly more varied history and the house has been moved three times.
In the clip, you get to hear more about the train history and join a visit to the station building in Kärrgruvan.
