The online "Chinese Bridge" experience camp jointly organized by the Chinese Department of Trinity University of Indonesia and the Confucius Institute and Xihua University of China-"Wandering in the Spring Land of Bashu" kicked off.

  Fei Ling, Vice President of Xihua University in China, Shan Dusuo, Dean of the Vocational College of Trinity University in Indonesia, Pan Fanni, Foreign Dean of the Confucius Institute, and Lu Yu, Chinese Dean attended the opening ceremony.

Nearly a hundred Indonesian students enjoyed the charming scenery and characteristic culture of "Spring Back to Bashu" in the cloud.

  The "Chinese Bridge" online activity relies on the "Bashu-Java Culture Research Center" jointly established by the two schools, with the theme of "wandering in the spring of Bashu", combining poems, songs, folk customs and art, through Real-time lectures, video courses, online forums, online interactions and other methods allow Indonesian students to appreciate and learn the ethnic, history, architecture, celebrities, and scenery of Bashu, and enjoy the Chinese Bashu cultural feast.

  Fei Ling said in his speech that this "Spring Tour to Bashu" online event can meet the needs of Indonesian Chinese lovers to further understand and learn Chinese language and culture, and continue to promote cultural exchanges between China and Indonesia.

  Sandoso hopes that Indonesian students will take this opportunity to better understand Xihua University and China. He encourages students to learn Chinese well and have the opportunity to apply to study in China.

  The teacher of Xihua University introduced to Indonesian students the traditional festivals such as Chinese New Year, Lantern Festival and Ching Ming, as well as the solar terms such as the beginning of spring and the spring equinox, and shared the traditional folk customs of each festival with the students.

  The online experience activity will last for one week. The courses include spring poetry, spring festivals, spring stories, Bashu cultural tour, Bashu outing trip and other special contents.

Participants can also watch the Dujiangyan spring water release ceremony online, participate in the "Singing of Spring" poetry recitations and the production of folk handicrafts, and experience the beautiful spring and long history and culture of Bashu.
