It is certainly a classic trap, but it has still worked.
On Sunday, a bicycle thief was once again caught in Nantes, after posting an ad to sell a two-wheeler stolen a few days earlier.
The break-in took place in the box of a residence on Boulevard Emile-Gabory, Nantes Sud district, last weekend.
Two bikes had disappeared, before they reappear in photos on the “Marketplace” space of the social network Facebook.
Seven other bikes
The owner of the bikes, who had spotted the ad, then set an appointment with the thief, to which BAC agents invited themselves.
The police officers proceeded Sunday to the arrest of the young man of 15 years, who gave them the address of a local, district Malakoff, where were seven other stolen bicycles "complete and in good condition", including the second of box broken into.
During his custody, the suspect explained to be "in charge of reselling them".
