Unlike when he was referred to the impeachment trial for the Ukrainian scandal more than a year ago, this time, seven rebellion votes came out in favor of Trump's impeachment in his own Republican Party.
In the history of the United States, it is the largest number of votes in favor of impeachment from the party to which the President belongs.
After retirement, Trump, who hadn't voiced much after his retirement, announced that when the impeachment bill was rejected, he said, "It was the greatest witch hunt in the history of the United States, and the only president who has suffered this is himself."
But Democrats and Republican lawmakers have also criticized Trump.

He escaped impeachment, but Trump's future is not smooth.
New York's Manhattan District Prosecutors' Office is investigating former President Trump for illegal loans, and the New York State Prosecutors' Office is also expanding the investigation of Trump's real estate in New York.
