Erfurt (dpa / th) - For the first time in Thuringia this weekend, the number of new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants fell below 100 within seven days.
On Sunday this value was 97.6 after 98.8 on Saturday, according to data from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI).
All federal states in Germany thus achieved the double-digit range for this value - Thuringia as the last country.
However, the Free State still has the highest seven-day incidence of all federal states, as the State Chancellery in Erfurt announced on Sunday.
According to their information, 283 new infections were registered in the last 24 hours.
Ten people died with or from the corona virus.

The lowest values for new infections are currently in the districts of Nordhausen and Sonneberg and the city of Eisenach, which are already below the 50 mark for the seven-day incidence.
