Invited from Europe 1, Sunday, the head of the emergency service at the CHR in Metz, François Braun, reacted to the measures taken in the face of the appearance of variants in Moselle, in a "worrying" health situation.

He affirmed the need to get out of the "diktat which would like the health situation to rule everything".

No re-containment, or school closures in Moselle, where the health situation is "worrying".

Guest of Europe 1, Sunday, François Braun, head of the emergency department at the CHR in Metz sees nothing that is irresponsible.

"All measures are good to take, but we must get out of this diktat which would like the sanitary to control everything," he says.

"There are health imperatives, but there are also other imperatives. There is an accumulation of measures, there are class closures ... The whole subtle balance is that the remedy should not be worse than evil ", he continues, evoking the need to resort, in all decisions, to a risk-benefit ratio.

For this doctor, the priority is above all "to reinforce the detection, treatment and isolation at all costs".
