Real Madrid rose to 49 points in second place, five points behind arch-rivals Atlético Madrid (leaders), who have two postponed matches.
On the other hand, the "bat" balance stopped at 24 points, in the 12th place.
The two goals of the match came in the first half, as Frenchman Karim Benzema (12) opened, while German Toni Kroos added the second goal (43).
With that result, Real avenged their loss 1-4 at the hands of Valencia in a match in the first leg of the competition, which took place at Mestalla, the stronghold of the Andalusian team.
