SVT recently revealed that the American mobile distributor Brightstar has been singled out as participating in the mobile scandal.

Brightstar rejects the Swedish Tax Agency's claims, but is not the only established company that has had close contacts with companies in the process.

Chilimobil is a new mobile operator in Sweden but well known in Norway, where it is described as the upstart against Telenor and Telia.

SVT's review shows that when the company last year decided to establish itself in Sweden, it did so together with a company that has now been singled out in the extensive berdägerirven.

Active Business Group, an extremely successful company in the Swedish mobile market: started by people from Brightstar, among others, and who now sold mobiles to Brightstar from the also rapidly expanding company Iskana in Västerås.

ABG joined as a partner with a seat on the board of Swedish Chilimobil, which in its marketing states that "we really do not have billions in the wallet", but with ABG they got an owner with large resources.

According to the annual report, ABG had sales of almost SEK 3.6 billion.

But at the end of last year, a decision came that paused the success story.

The Swedish Tax Agency demanded ABG more than half a billion and claimed that the company had been part of the extensive fraud scheme.

"Acted in good faith"

SVT has been in contact with ABG's CEO, who denies the accusations, emphasizes that they only sold about 400 mobile phones to Chilimobil, and believes that they have been deceived by what was deceived by Iskana.

ABG has appealed the decision and states that it is preparing both a JO report and legal proceedings against the Swedish Tax Agency's officials.

In its appeal, reference is made, among other things, to marketing material from Iskana, where the Västerås company is described as an international giant group.

- The Swedish Tax Agency claims that we have acted in bad faith, but we have acted in good faith, says ABG's CEO to SVT.

He says he is confident of winning in the end, but states that for the time being they have been forced to close down all operations and lay off staff.

According to Chilimobil's Swedish founder Hans Carlsson, Chilimobil is aware of the Swedish Tax Agency's decision but trusts ABG's explanations and will not let it affect the collaboration.

- As for the Swedish Tax Agency's decision, the events are before Chilimobil so I have no reason to comment on them.
