Nuremberg (AP) - FC St. Pauli has continued its climbing tour in the 2nd Bundesliga with 1. FC Nürnberg.

The rapidly changing Hamburgers defeated a defensive club that had long been completely insecure on Sunday 2-1 (1-0).

Thanks to the fifth win in the sixth game, coach Timo Schultz's team overtook Nuremberg in the table.

The former “Club” crowd favorite Guido Burgstaller (45th + 1 minute) put the guests in the lead immediately before the half-time whistle.

After the break, Omar Marmoush (65th), who could never be captured by the Franks, converted a penalty from uncertainty factor Lukas Mühl to Daniel Kyereh.

The subsequent goal for FCN from Leipzig loan Dennis Borkowski (77th) had no further consequences for Hamburg.

Igor Matanovic (88th) and Maximilian Dittgen (90th) missed the 3-1 before the final whistle.
