In the United Kingdom, the vaccination campaign launched in early December is continuing and Boris Johnson's government is respecting its schedule so far: 15 million people should have received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine by Monday, February 15.
The country is far ahead of its European neighbors.
This figure suggests a relaxation of the very strict confinement imposed since the beginning of the year.

Asked on television this Sunday morning February 14, Dominic Raab, the British Minister for Foreign Affairs, congratulated himself while remaining cautious.
“
The numbers are good,
” he said, “
we are confident and on the right track.
The United Kingdom should succeed well on its bet set at the start of the campaign: to vaccinate 15 million people by February 15.
In total, 22% of the population has already received a first dose.
Caregivers and the most vulnerable.

Towards a reduction in confinement?
Good news for Prime Minister
Boris Johnson criticized
for his management of the health crisis.
Nearly 117,000 people have died in the UK, the worst affected country in Europe.
The first objective of the vaccination campaign has therefore been achieved, but for the moment the British are betting almost solely on the first dose to immunize the greatest number at least once.
As a result, only 530,000 people have so far received the two required injections.
This new step must in any case allow Boris Johnson to soon announce a reduction in
confinement
, with a priority, the reopening of schools hoped for on March 8.
