“There is hope” is written on the white and blue bus that has taken position in the municipality of La Reina, in the east of the Chilean metropolitan region around the capital Santiago.

The mobile vaccination station has been set up for people who find it difficult to reach one of the more than 1,400 vaccination centers in the country.

Inside the bus, not only are committed employees waiting for patients who want to be vaccinated, but also that valuable cargo that the whole of Latin America envies Chile: sufficient vaccine.

Chile is showing an impressive vaccination speed in the pandemic - and has long overtaken Germany. And not without reason.
