Munich (AP) - Football national player Leon Goretzka will also miss FC Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga home game against Arminia Bielefeld.

After a corona infection, the midfielder was unable to train on Sunday due to calf problems.

"I think he won't be an option tomorrow either," said coach Hansi Flick after the practice session.

Jérôme Boateng trained again on Sunday, but will not return to the game for private reasons and will therefore not be part of the squad again on Monday (8.30 p.m.).

Flick also left it open as to whether veteran Javi Martínez will be part of the squad after his break due to the corona virus.

Flick has to replace Thomas Müller and Serge Gnabry on the offensive.

"I hope that Thomas comes back as soon as possible, as does Serge," said the coach with a view to the first leg of the first leg in the Champions League on February 23 in Italy against Lazio Rome.

After a positive corona test at the Club World Cup, Müller was brought back to Germany with an ambulance machine from Qatar.

He is in quarantine at home.

Gnabry suffered a torn muscle fiber in his thigh in the final of the Club World Cup.

Despite the forced changes, the Bayern squad had enough quality to "survive against Bielefeld," said Flick.

His declared aim is to maintain the lead over his pursuers with a win.
