Three local police officers from El Prat de Llobregat (Barcelona) have been seriously injured when their patrol car was hit by a vehicle when they were heading to an emergency.
As reported by police sources, the accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. this afternoon, at the
confluence of Lleida street with La Bunyola de El Prat road
, when, for reasons that are being investigated, a vehicle has rammed head-on to the police car at a junction.
The patrol was circulating at a certain speed, because it was going to a service, and had activated the emergency light signals to indicate that it was coming to a call for help.
In the patrol vehicle, logotyped, were three agents of the Local Police of El Prat, who have been seriously injured, for which they have been evacuated to the Bellvitge Hospital, while there is no evidence that the driver of the tourism has suffered injuries from the shock.
The collision has caused significant damage to the front of the police vehicle and
has even knocked down a lamppost.
