Franziska Preuss finally wants to win an individual medal at a World Cup again after six years.

After the non-Olympic mixed relay in the skeleton, the women's monobob has its World Cup premiere.

“We want two medals, even if that's ambitious,” said head coach René Spies.

In the premier class of four-man bobsleigh, record world champion Francesco Friedrich is aiming for his fifth double since 2017 with his eleventh world title.

Since then he has been unbeaten at the World Cup and the Olympics.

Four German ski crossers want to race for medals in Scandinavia.

Niklas Bachsleitner from Partenkirchen, who recently finished third in the World Cup on the course in Idre Fjäll, has the best chance.

There is no German among the women.
