The protest movement against the generals' coup continues in Burma.

Friday, February 12, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva called for targeted sanctions against the military regime, but on the spot the arrests of activists are increasing.

The date is also used as Father's Day in Burma. 

If there has not been more for a few days of police violence during the demonstrations during the day, the soldiers are maintaining the pressure by increasing the arrests of activists, according to this young teacher in Rangoon.

Illegal arrests during night raids take place every night,” he

reports. 

Meanwhile, the military have plans to pass a cybersecurity law, in violation of human rights, which would allow users of social networks to be imprisoned.

But the protest movement is going strong these days, and young people are finding creative ways to voice their opinion.

Several videos on social media show soldiers showing up at night at the homes of anonymous citizens to arrest them, often members of the medical staff who have launched the general strike movement intended to defeat the military administration.
