Thousands of people organized a march in the Yemeni city of Taiz to mark the tenth anniversary of the popular revolution that toppled President Ali Abdullah Saleh, and they raised banners confirming the continuation of the struggle and standing by the National Army.

The march roamed the streets of Taiz, where the participants chanted slogans showing their support for the National Army for the sake of restoring all state institutions and building Yemen, as they said.

The participants raised banners reminiscent of the revolution and its fate starting in 2014, that is, the date of the Houthi group's takeover of the capital, Sanaa, and the subsequent confrontations that continue to this day.

The revolution anniversary celebrations began yesterday evening, Wednesday, as fireworks were set off in the sky of Taiz in a loud festive atmosphere, and the Peaceful Revolution Youth Council lit the torch of the tenth anniversary of the Yemeni revolution among crowds of people at the historic Cairo Citadel.
