Thus, the total number of countries that have approved the use of the Sputnik V vaccine has reached 26, ”the statement says.

As the fund emphasizes, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines became the first island state in the Caribbean to register a Russian vaccine.

In both countries, registration took place according to an accelerated procedure, which implies the absence of additional clinical trials on the territory of the state.

Earlier, Czech Prime Minister Andrei Babis announced the readiness of the Czech side to buy the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine if the European Medicines Agency (EMA) approves the drug.
