Almost everything that saves lives or makes life worth living is unnatural: cocktails, condoms, computers.

And almost everything that endangers life happens when you let nature take its course.

Because nature is not nice.

She doesn't care about us humans.

The ecological movement would do well to heed this insight. The danger did not arise from the peaceful use of nuclear energy; what was fatal was the burning of coal, oil and gas. If more and more nuclear power plants had been built and all coal and oil power plants had been mothballed, we wouldn't be facing a climate catastrophe today.
