Speaker Park Byeong-seok, who is visiting the Middle East, met Hollywood star Tom Cruise in Abu Dhabi, the UAE, where he first visited yesterday (11th) local time.



Tom Cruise, who is staying in Abu Dhabi for the filming of the movie'Mission Impossible 7', had a surprise encounter while having dinner at the same restaurant.



The restaurant manager asked and said, "Tom Cruise is here and I want to greet you after hearing that there is a Korean National Assembly Speaker."



Chairman Park readily accepted this proposal.



Immediately, Tom Cruise, who was having a meal on the 2nd floor, came down to Chairman Park's table on the 1st floor and said hello.




Chairman Park introduced himself, "I am the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea," and Tom Cruise said, "I came by filming the Mission Impossible Desert scene. I love Korea so much and I wanted to say hello."



Tom Cruise said, "I've been to Korea more than 20 times. I have liked it since I was a kid. I tried to go to Korea by filming last year, but I couldn't go because of Corona 19. I will definitely go back."



Chairman Park said, "Please contact me when you come to Korea," and Tom Cruise nodded and replied.
