Sala

Långforsen:

From the swimming pool at Måls Ols there is a 5.5 kilometer long course for ice skating, walking and with ski trails.

IFK Sala is responsible for maintenance together with the caretaker at Lärkan and the municipality.

- The ice has only gotten better and better, and as soon as it snows we drive up new tracks.

It seems appreciated, the parking lot is more full now than in the summer, says Åke Lantz, chairman of IFK Sala.

He says that non-profit forces have plowed, especially ice rinks on several waters in the municipality.

For example, Storljusen and Olov-Jons.

Skinnskatteberg

Norrsjön:

At the manor in Färna, a 2.5 kilometer long track has been plowed up 

Lower Vättern:

A course of 5 kilometers, easy road has been plowed up by non-profit forces, announces the tourism coordinator at Skinnskatteberg municipality.

Surahammar

Långsjön:

A total of 5 kilometers long track, with the possibility to make detours of 2.5 kilometers has been plowed up by the municipality's staff.

There are also two areas for games, such as ice hockey and hockey hockey.

Västerås

Mälaren:

A 4 kilometer long track between Björnögården and southern Björnön plowed by the outdoor center.

It is good to walk below the outdoor center or in Gäddeholm.

- In terms of ice, it looks fantastic for the weekend.

It has probably never been such good conditions, says Per Fredin at Björnögården.

An approximately 11 kilometer long stretch from Lillåudd, along Öster Mälarstrand and Framnäs to Björnön's northern cape, via Utter inn, with a cross turn around the eastern islet that is plowed by the association Västerås non-profit plows.

- We have been out sweeping and fixing today so we hope it stays good for the weekend, says Nils-Erik Hjelmer from the association.
