Chemnitz (dpa / sn) - Saxony's hairdressers are preparing for a rush from March 1st.

Then, according to the new Corona Protection Ordinance for the Free State, hairdressers with hygiene requirements should be allowed to reopen.

"The preparation is in full swing, appointments have been made with us since Thursday," said the Chemnitz guild master Jörn Lüdecke on request on Friday.

The colleagues would use the whole range of possibilities for this - from social media to orders by email or directly in the store with employees on the phone.

From March 1st, customers could expect extended opening times in some shops.

Lüdecke sees the hairdressing trade in a very difficult situation due to the more than two-month compulsory break.

Since Bridging Aid III can only be applied for now, many colleagues have empty coffers and run out of reserves.

In individual cases, you have to expect that businesses will not survive and stop operations.
