Cocaine, heroin, cannabis, cars, cash… The police have dismantled drug trafficking in Metz (Moselle).
Seven people were remanded in custody.
This traffic was "orchestrated from the district of Les Isles in Metz", with drugs imported from the Netherlands and processed in the Metz region, indicate in a joint press release the departmental directorate of public security (DDSP) of Moselle and that of the Metz judicial police service.
A clandestine lab
Tuesday, the police operation made it possible to seize 3.7 kg of heroin, 6.3 kg of cocaine, 6 kg of cannabis, "several kilos of cutting products", as well as three handguns.
Seven vehicles and 184,000 euros in cash were also seized, police said.
On the other hand, the police officers also discovered "a clandestine laboratory, with hydraulic press, specialized in the preparation and the packaging of narcotic products in the metropolitan area of Metz," the statement added.
The seven accused were imprisoned at the end of their police custody and their indictments.
They nevertheless remain "evasive as to their involvement" or have remained silent during their custody, according to the police.
